Happy launch day! We finally made it. The Eleven18 Collection is real and open to the public. I truly hope you love every piece I’ve created and it becomes a staple in your closet like its been a staple in mine. With the launch of this dream also comes the launch of a new collection - The Midnights Collection.
The Midnights Collection has been so fun to design and create. I was inspired by Taylor Swift’s most recent album, Midnights, and I basically listened to it while creating each and every piece.
I’ve been such a fan of blondie since I was 14 listening to Tim McGraw, and 15 crying about Fifteen. That was more than ten years ago (omg), and I didn’t realize how much of an impact she’s had on my life until I looked at my boyfriend. He and I met in elementary school, dated at 15, and broke up at 17… only to get back together years later. I remember it like it was yesterday, it was during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I lived with my best friend and her boyfriend, and he lived alone, so we’d invite him over all the time so he wouldn’t get lonely. After a night of many lemon drop shots, he told me that he still had feelings for me, and BOY WAS I HESITANT, but I took a leap of faith, and here we are two years later. Shortly after we got back together, Folklore came out, and then Evermore and those two beautiful albums became background music to many of our activities. Whether we were working from home together or making dinner, blondie was on in the background.
It took looking at this man who has pushed me so much to create this business, to follow my dreams, who took care of me through some of my worst times (we love an angsty teenager) to some of my best. So, I created The Midnights Collection because while I love Taylor Swift, I mostly love who she represents for me… The boy I cried about while listening to Teardrops on my Guitar, the boy who I thought about while listening to Jump then Fall, and the man I think about when listening to Sweet Nothings.
